The Effect of 'Movement Cure'
An unhealthy daily food habit coupled with no or less exercise leave the body with Toxins of noxious or poisonous substances which can be harmful to the body. Although most of the toxins of plant or animal origin can also include inorganic elements or compounds some of which are essential and form the mineral constituents of cells. These compounds or trace elements include aluminium, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur, sodium, chlorine, magnesium, iron, flurine, iodine, copper, manganese and zinc. Whilst they mostly exist in a harmonious stability, an excess of one element, such as aluminium, can be harmful to the body.
The most common forms of toxins to occur are those produced by bacteria. Such poisons are either released by the micro-organisms (exotoxins) or occured as a result of the bacteria being destroyed (endotoxins). Toxins can be found within the cells or in the interstitial spaces. They can also be transported in the blood.
A high protein diet and a poor digestion can result in highly toxic products including ammonia, phenols and hydrogen sulphate.
The toxins which are circulating in the blood are normally eliminated through the colon, the kidneys, the lungs, by the liver via the bile, the mucus membranes and the sweat glands in the skin.
The “Movement Cure” helps perform detoxification by various body parts and skin and leave body healthy and shining.

Your First BodyGlaze Experience?
  Before Your Treatment:
Avoid eating at least 1-2 hours before a massage or body treatment.
Massage will not hurt and is not a painful experience. The depth of the massage will be discussed with you prior to the treatment.
Shave atleast 2-3 hours prior to the facial treatment for men.
Your privacy is considered at all times and accordingly you will be appropriately draped during your session. We will provide you with towels, slippers, spa robes and disposable underwear for body and massage treatments, for your comfort.
We strive to get to know you and your needs. A pre-consultation will be done before starting a session. Your medical history and what to expect from a massage will be discussed for better understanding by both you and the therapist.
  After Your Treatment:
Do not sunbath after facial or waxing for a minimum of 12 hours.
Drink lots of water. Drinking water helps in the elimination of cellular waste, which is increased during your massage.
Avoid any strenuous exercise immediately after a massage, such as jogging, aerobic or any other physically active work or sport.
Some people can experience headaches and nausea following a massage. This is due to the increase in circulation and the release of toxins and cellular waste. Drinking water will alleviate this.
Since emotional memories are stored in the muscles, it is not uncommon for emotional releases to occur after a treatment. This is welcomed, especially during difficult times.
